£26,421 - £29,269 FTE


We are seeking a dedicated People Associate Adviser to join our dynamic People Directorate, responsible for supporting our 40 Academies and Central Team to deliver the best education to our 16,000+ pupils. As a customer-focused individual with excellent communication skills, you will thrive on handling first-line queries from both employees and managers, providing timely advice and proactive solutions.


This role requires strong administrative abilities and a keen eye for accuracy, as you will be responsible for managing the entire employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contractual changes, and maintaining accurate records within our HRIS.

The position offers a hybrid working arrangement, with time spent in our Nottingham offices and working remotely from home.


As an integral member of our team, you will collaborate closely with colleagues while also demonstrating the ability to work independently and take initiative.

Key responsibilities include serving as the primary point of contact for employee queries, providing guidance on Trust procedures, and utilizing our HRIS to ensure the efficient administration of employee records.


We are looking for someone who can effectively utilize our HRIS system, ensuring accurate data management and promoting its use across the Trust.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of our People Directorate and make a meaningful impact on our organization.


You will be:


  • Serve as the primary point of contact for our employees, addressing a variety of queries from managers and contacts within our academies and other service teams. Utilize remote working technology and telephone support to promptly resolve their inquiries with assistance from your colleagues.
  • Offer advice and guidance on Trust procedures to ensure compliance and consistency across the organization.
  • Utilize and maintain our HRIS & ATS to facilitate the accurate and efficient administration of employee records.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate flow of information to meet established deadlines, contributing to the smooth operation of our People Directorate.
  • Become proficient in the use of our HRIS system and actively promote its utilization to ensure accurate and efficient administration of employee records throughout the Trust.

About you:


  • Excellent communication skills and meticulous attention to detail when handling sensitive data.
  • Possess a 'can do' attitude, demonstrating a proactive approach to enhancing the customer experience.
  • Working towards a CIPD qualification or equivalent experience within an HR department is essential.
  • Proficient experience with HR Information Systems (HRIS), demonstrating the ability to navigate and utilize HRIS platforms effectively to manage and maintain employee records with accuracy and efficiency.
