    Description

    Self-employed Mortgage Adviser NeededOne of our highly successful and leading businesses, IBA Wealth Management Ltd, are currently seeking a mortgage adviser to join their team, on a self-employed basis.

    The company recognise the importance of flexible/hybrid working providing their staff the option to work from home and use their office space in Kings Lynn.

    The company provides a range of services including Mortgage Planning, Investment & Pension Planning, Protection Advice and Insurance to numerous clients.

    The company takes great pride in their honest and professional approach to services they provide to customers.

    This leading Financial Planning business is a Strategic Partner and fully aligned to and supported by Quilter Financial Planning, One of the largest financial services businesses in the UK.


    Your duties will usually include:

    • Meeting performance targets
    • Ability to prospect and organise meetings
    • Fact-find effectively to establish the client's current finances and future aspirations.
    • Provide high quality professional mortgage advice and explain different types of mortgages available
    • Explain required insurance and protection products so that clients can make informed choices.
    • Communicate with estate agents, mortgage lenders, solicitors, and insurance providers.
    • Ensure all regulatory documentation completed within the required timescale
    • Keep up to date with new mortgage and protection products and changes in mortgage regulation
    • Maintain generic knowledge of the Financial Services industry and knowledge that is deemed necessary
    • Embrace company values and promote them effectively alongside the brand

    Candidate Requirements:

    • CeMap qualified or relevant mortgage advice qualifications
    • Excellent customer service skills and client-orientated
    • The ability to explain complex information clearly and simply.
    • Excellent, empathetic communicator with a real flair for getting into the detail of things
    • Honest and trustworthy attitude.
    • Respect for confidential information.
    • Ambitious and driven individuals who are prepared to go the extra mile for clients
    • Work your own client bank plus some leads supplied

    Minimum 2-3 years' experienceBenefits:

    • Generous commission split package, with OTE £50-£70K
    • Dedicated administration support (if required)

    • Flexible Working Location - Desk in the Kings Lynn office or work from home or a mix
    • Support of Director - Who is a very experienced Investment & Pension advisers and industry person
    • Opportunity to go on a Wealth Journey with QFP Financial Adviser School and to transfer into their other business area doing Investment & Pensions as a restricted financial planner
