    Senior Video Editor: 40k - 50k per year

    Nifty50 is a fast-growing commercial production company working predominantly across the luxury, sport, automotive and fashion sectors.

    We are looking for a full-time Senior Video Editor to join us, with skills and experience that confidently encompass commercial, corporate and documentary formats.

    The Role:

    We need an Editor with a strong sense of storytelling who brings creativity and enthusiasm to every one of their projects or tasks. Someone with enough experience to take rushes and a directorial concept, then confidently form a coherent and compelling narrative that blows audiences away. We built a company off the back of consistently exceeding client expectations, and we're building a team of creatives who want to do the same.

    This is a senior role; any viable candidate must extensively demonstrate broad experience, unmistakable talent, and how their taste and sensibilities complement our own. We are looking for an exceptional individual to elevate our work, bringing flare and style to our in-house post-production.

    Requirements:

    Expert knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro

    Strong capability with additional software, including After Effects, Audition (Or other sound editing applications), DaVinci Resolve, and Photoshop.

    Extensive experience across a broad range of formats, including commercial, corporate and documentary.

    Solid technical background, capable of quickly learning how to use and troubleshoot our internal Server and quickly diagnosing/solving general, everyday hardware and software issues.

    High attention to detail, the ability to self-review their work, and the ability to ensure no missed feedback or errors are ever sent to a client.

    Good knowledge of sound design and colour grading.

    Able to instruct and manage an assistant or peer editor when workload requires it.

    Can communicate clearly with clients, using good grammar and punctuation, and in a way that reflects well on Nifty50.

    Continually maintains and develops an understanding of the Nifty50 Brand, style and practices.

    Continually maintains and develops an understanding of Nifty50's clients, their brand guidelines, style, practices, likes, dislikes, and goals.

    Maintains an awareness of developments in the Post-Production industry, including new software, practices, techniques, training, etc. and makes relative suggestions within Nifty50.

    We work flexibly but maintain our office as our base, ensuring we spend most of our time there; any candidate making an application must also be happy to base themselves out of our SW18, Wandsworth office.
