    Responsibilities of a Year 6 teacher:

    As a Year 6 teacher you will be responsible for the pastoral care of children taking their first steps in Key Stage 2, promoting teamwork, and cultivating a conducive learning environmentTeaching the Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children while also focusing on each individual child's learning targets, encouraging their strengths, and improving their weaknessesFurther developing maths ability and introducing fractions, statistics, and geometryHelp children develop their writing ability by creating plots, characters, and settings for storiesKeeping track of children's progress and occasionally reporting back to parentsYear 6 Teacher requirements:QTS, PGCE and strong academic recordCreative, imaginative, determined, resourceful and adaptable practitionerPassionate about learningAble to demonstrate a track record of success within a Year 6 environmentAble to communicate your passion to children and parentsAbility to demonstrate outstanding practice in the classroomCompany InformationWayman Education is a specialist recruitment agency with over 20 years' experience within the education field.
