    Description
    *Financial Controller**Shropshire / Oxfordshire**Up to £65,000 plus car allowance and bonus*T2M Resourcing have been retained to recruit this newly created role of Financial Controller for the UK division of a highly successful international manufacturing group. Reporting to the UK Finance Director, this appointment comes at a really exciting time as the company have made a strategic acquisition and the Financial Controller will play a key role in the integration of the new entity.


    This role will be based 'on site' in Telford but with regular travel to the company Head Office in Oxfordshire.

    Leading and developing a small team your remit will include the following:

    • Responsible for all financial reporting, financial control, compliance and business performance analysis for the Telford site
    • Aligning all core accounting processes and procedures to the overall group operating standards and requirements – leading the business through a finance transformation project
    • Inventory management and reporting
    • Working capital / cash management
    • Providing financial business performance insight and decision support to the local management team
    • Support the implementation of a new finance system ( e.g. Sage)
    • Team management, support and coaching
    • Providing ad-hoc reports and delivering performance improvement initiatives
    To be successful in this role of Financial Controller we seek a candidate with the following skills, experience and attributes:

    • Fully qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)
    • Significant experience of working within a small to medium size manufacturing business, ideally at division / subsidiary level of a group
    • Strong financial reporting, control and compliance skills
    • Able to meet deadlines in a timely and efficient manner
    • Proven team management skills
    • Experience of driving change and finance transformation initiatives
    • A collegiate and supporting leadership style but driven and passionate about meeting high standards
    • Willing to be 'on-site' 5 days a week including regular travel to head office
    The company provide a competitive salary, annual bonus scheme and benefits package. We anticipate a base pay range of £60,000 to £65,000 plus car allowance. To apply please forward your CV together with details of your current salary and notice period.
