Description

We are looking for a Domestic Assistant to join our adult service King Street, Thorne .

This job involves ensuring all residential accommodation, offices and communal areas are clean, safe and provide a pleasant environment for people to live and work in, whilst complying with all relevant Health and Safety legislation.

The role also includes working in the central laundry to ensure all items are laundered in a timely manner and in line with all Health and Safety legislation.

The hours for this role are 16 per week, shift times will be discussed at interview stage but you must be flexible to work weekends and midweeks.

#The successful candidates must have a good k nowledge of general health and safety regulations, for example Health and Safety at work, COSHH, Food Safety and Infection Control. You will also need e xperience of using cleaning equipment and materials in situations where care is needed to prevent harm to others.

We provide community based residential care for adults who have complex care needs, including behaviours that may challenge and a learning disability, often in association with autism.
