Our Learning Support Assistants work alongside the class teacher and the SENDCO to deliver high quality learning experiences, which improve rates of progress for pupils within a welcoming and experienced support team.

They also use their initiative and are proactive in supporting individual pupils across the class. Experience of delivering interventions to improve the development of speech and language and social skills are desirable. High expectations for all the children are essential as is the ability to demonstrate excellent behaviour management skills. The role requires effective communication and teamwork.


Hours of work: 25.5 per week

Weeks worked:
term time only (38 weeks per year).


The actual salary:
£18,388
