    A Senior FF&E job is now available with a design practice based in South East London.

    This is an exciting role, perfect for a multitasker looking to design across a range of aesthetics whilst developing the FF&E department.

    This design studio has over ten years of experience working across a variety of projects including residential, commercial, and BTR developments.

    Their services include interior design, FF&E, furnishing and procurement for private clients and developers.

    This will include designing furniture collections on large schemes, gyms, co-working, and all forms of amenity and building requirements.

    Working with the directors, supporting them in new business as a leader in the field

    • Creating and deciphering design briefs to ensure clear communication throughout the company
    • Creating design concepts and confidently presenting them to clients and investors
    • Working with the wider team in the spatial planning and designing of each project
    • Sourcing/researching new suppliers, ascertaining suitability, and developing the supplier database
    • Overseeing the installation of projects, including styling requirements & overseeing photoshoots
    • Liaising with PM's and installation teams to ensure smooth delivery and installation of the projects
    • Reporting to the design director on tasks and deliverables
    • Diploma or degree in interior design, interior architecture or architecture
    • Proven experience working on both residential and hospitality projects
    • An extensive knowledge of and relationships with the suppliers of contract furniture
    • General knowledge of interior architecture with the ability to read and understand technical drawings, including furniture shop drawings
    • Proven experience in managing procurement and installations (budgeting, scheduling etc)
    • Ability to understand and formulate design decisions and present them for discussion
    • Experience as a line manager overseeing junior and intermediate designers
    • Understanding of the financial aspects of running a design project, beneficial but not essential
    • Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
    • Legal right to work in the UK.
    Circa £55,000, flexible for the right candidate
