    Metrology Engineer required to join a luxury automotive brand based in Daventry on a Permanent paying in the region of £35,000-£40,000 per annum (dependant on experience).

    The Metrology Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and precision of measurements within an automotive manufacturing discipline. Working with precision and skill, you'll use your experience within 3D measurement processes using Polyworks, Metrolog and CAM2.

    Your role will involve driving a quality approach across assembly validation and build documentation, promoting continuous improvement every step of the way.

    Our client is looking to place a skilled Metrology Engineer on a permanent basis working a Day Shift Monday to Friday with ample opportunity for overtime Permanent benefits would include 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, Employee assistant programme, Team events, unlimited use of a coffee machine, and more

    Dimensionally inspect vehicles using 3D scanning & Faro arm.
    Interpret measurement data & provide trend analysis, work alongside Manufacturing Engineering team with tooling improvements.

    Work with the Quality & Manufacturing Engineering teams using the appropriate quality tools to determine route cause and identify containments and countermeasures.

    Deliver, maintain & drive a quality approach across assembly validation and build documentation.
    Ensure that any problems that may threaten production are escalated immediately.
    Work with SQA team to provide feedback of part quality concerns into supplier.
    Proven hands-on experience in an Automotive component inspection role.

    Hours:

    Day Shift:
    Monday - Thursday: 7.30am pm with the opportunity for weekday and Saturday overtime.
