    Position Summary

    Summary

    The Lean Leader provides expertise in implementing Continuous Improvement plan and initiatives. Analyses and measures the effectiveness of existing business processes and develops sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable business process improvements.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities

    · Responsible for implementation of strategy that has been created at higher organisational levels.

    · Responsible for implementation of Parker Lean system, the principles, techniques, and methodologies.

    · Assist in development of local level Lean strategy that aligns with higher organisational levels.

    · Ensure steering committees and teams are established at local level and they commit to implement Lean principles.

    · May lead Kaizen events.

    · Provide ongoing education for all employees at local location.

    · Promote continuous learning environment.

    · Responsible for open communication on status of Lean efforts.

    · Make certain that Lean tracking & reporting is in place.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications

    · Expert knowledge in lean manufacturing and six sigma - ideally green or black belt level.

    · Focused, committed with ability to work with minimal supervision.

    · Confident to research and analyse data effectively.

    · Able to gather data, to compile information, and prepare reports.

    · Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    · Able to influence and manage stakeholders at all levels.

    · Change management experience is required.

    · Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally.
