Lead the development and implementation of the group wide ESG strategy, including Net Zero decarbonisation plans with reduction target roadmap.

Creating policies and guidelines related to sustainability programmes effecting ESG in the organisation.
Monitoring and reporting of progress towards achievement of ESG strategic objectives including Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions.
Identify, assess, and mitigate ESG risks in collaboration with relevant stakeholders. Facilitate knowledge-sharing and training initiatives to enhance ESG knowledge and awareness across the group.
Engage key strategic stakeholders and industry organisations, including taking part in partnerships, forums, surveys, and memberships.
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of environmental standards and frameworks: such as UN Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs), Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD)
Experience in stakeholder engagement and change management.
Whilst this role is based out of our Eccles head office - the role will involve some travel around the country and for meeting off site within the Group of Companies
