Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room Regional Float Pool/Central StaffingWe are seeking experienced nurses to join our Central Staffing Float Pool/Operating Room (OR)/Surgery at Coastal Healthcare Alliance, comprised of Pen Bay Medical Center in Rockport and Waldo County General Hospital in Belfast.
"Nurses are given the opportunity to work at Pen Bay Medical Center and Waldo County General Hospital in the Operating Room/Surgery. Having the ability to transition between facilities is a must when working in this role with Central Staffing.Position Summary (This is a per diem position)
The Registered Nurse provides high quality patient and family centered care; in accordance with the scope of practice defined the Maine State Board of Nursing.
Through collaboration, delegation and communication with members of the healthcare team, the Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers care to a diverse population without discrimination in assigned areas.
Minimum three years circulating in a variety of surgical cases including total joint replacement, c-sections, ophthalmology and endoscopy. Experience working at smaller, multi-specialty hospital settings preferred.Float between Pen Bay and Waldo with call shift rotation required
Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
A minimum of one year in an acute care setting preferred.
OB Department RN Float - Labor, delivery, postpartum and newborn care experience required, three years' acute care experience required with a minimum of two years in the OB/GYN specialty.
OR Department RN Float Minimum three years circulating in a variety of surgical cases including total joint replacement, csections, ophthalmology and endoscopy.
Experience working at smaller, multi-specialty hospital settings preferred. As required by department, including Annual Electronic Fetal Monitoring competency for any RN assisting Laboring WomenMaineHealth policy requires all care team members to be vaccinated, including for Covid-19 and influenza, subject to eligibility for medical or religious exemptions which can only be granted in compliance with applicable law.
