- Salary Scale: $75,000- $95,186pa, (depending on experience) with a low tax rate
- Subsidised housing for the first 3 months, with travel and relocation allowance, plus an attractive benefits package.
- 2 year contracts
- Evaluates and treats patients with acute and chronic complaints related to speciality, according to written standardized procedures
- Obtains complete histories and performs pertinent physical exams with assessment of normal and abnormal findings on new patients according to written standardized procedures
- Obtain interval histories and performs pertinent examinations on return patients
- Performs, requests and/or evaluates diagnostic studies as indicated upon evaluation of the patient according to written standardized procedures
- Orders and provides medications according to written standardized procedures and medical directives (as articulated in the Therapeutics Medical Directive for each Speciality)
- Masters of Science in Nursing from an accredited school
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner by a nationally accredited nursing organization
- Other technical skills commensurate with specific departments and/or specialty
- 2 - 5 years' experience as a Nurse Practitioner, preferred
- Registered with the Bermuda Nursing Council as a Nurse Practitioner. ACLS and BCLS
- Demonstrate skills in consultation and ability to function both independently and in collaboration with other health care professionals
- Change management and leadership skills
- Problem solving and conflict resolution skills
