    Job Description

    Remedy International Medical are working with an established hospital in Bermuda, which is a British Overseas Territory to recruit an experienced Nurse Practitioner.

    Situated in the North Atlantic, with a sub-tropical climate, beautiful beaches and aquarium-like waters, and plenty of sandy coves, if you love the outdoors, this could be the island for you.

    The Offer

    • Salary Scale: $75,000- $95,186pa, (depending on experience) with a low tax rate
    • Subsidised housing for the first 3 months, with travel and relocation allowance, plus an attractive benefits package.
    • 2 year contracts

    Responsibilities

    • Evaluates and treats patients with acute and chronic complaints related to speciality, according to written standardized procedures
    • Obtains complete histories and performs pertinent physical exams with assessment of normal and abnormal findings on new patients according to written standardized procedures
    • Obtain interval histories and performs pertinent examinations on return patients
    • Performs, requests and/or evaluates diagnostic studies as indicated upon evaluation of the patient according to written standardized procedures
    • Orders and provides medications according to written standardized procedures and medical directives (as articulated in the Therapeutics Medical Directive for each Speciality)

    Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge

    • Masters of Science in Nursing from an accredited school
    • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner by a nationally accredited nursing organization
    • Other technical skills commensurate with specific departments and/or specialty
    • 2 - 5 years' experience as a Nurse Practitioner, preferred
    • Registered with the Bermuda Nursing Council as a Nurse Practitioner. ACLS and BCLS
    • Demonstrate skills in consultation and ability to function both independently and in collaboration with other health care professionals
    • Change management and leadership skills
    • Problem solving and conflict resolution skills
