Your Responsibilities:
- Participation in the delivery of technical EHS compliance projects (including permitting support and EHS compliance auditing) across a wide range of industrial, hi tech, power and energy and commercial sector clients for work being delivered in Ireland, UK and parts of Western Europe.
- Work with senior AECOM colleagues and Client Account Managers to support the winning of new work.
- Support senior consultants in the development of AECOM EHS compliance competencies through external and internal training delivery, work processes, mentoring and engagement.
- Keep up to date with EHS trends, legislation and practice in UK&I and Europe and ensure this is shared across teams.
- Identify areas for growth in EHS compliance consulting capabilities.
Qualifications:
What you can bring:
- Demonstrable experience in a professional role aligned to the responsibilities that have been defined as part of this role.
- Ideally, but not essential, experience in an EHS compliance role within a relevant sector.
- A strong technical and detail oriented approach to project delivery.
Competencies:
- A degree in an engineering or scientific discipline.
- A valid, full UK or Republic of Ireland Driving Licence.
- Good communication skills, including technical report writing and reviewing.
- Strong interpersonal skills, organisational agility, and well-developed influencing skills, ideally in client facing roles
- Ability to work within a team and autonomously.
- Good basic grasp of project financial management.
