    Job Description

    In this role, you will be part of our vibrant Water Engineering team in the South West, seeking a Project Manager to join our expanding teams based in Exeter, Bristol, or Cardiff.

    Our team is currently engaged in diverse water programs and projects under long-term agreements with major UK water companies like Wessex Water, Welsh Water, South West Water, as well as international projects.

    This position offers an excellent opportunity to advance your career as a project leader, working on a variety of projects that address both current and future technical challenges.

    Key responsibilities for this role include:
    • Lead the technical delivery of wastewater and water infrastructure projects, overseeing multidisciplinary teams to provide innovative solutions throughout the project lifecycle
    • Manage various work packages from inception to completion, collaborating with internal teams, clients, and suppliers to deliver seamless technical solutions
    • Collaborate with clients and AECOM colleagues to ensure stakeholder engagement in solutions, while also contributing to the company's technical expertise and innovative approach
    • Ensure efficiency, coordination, and quality to meet client expectations
    • Mentor and support junior engineers

    In this role, you will work closely with civil, mechanical, electrical, and process engineers to deliver a wide range of projects from concept to execution, many of which are nationwide, providing a unique opportunity to lead a diverse and skilled team.

    You will be encouraged to foster innovation and drive operational efficiency.

    Qualifications

    Requirements:
    • Experience in managing water and wastewater treatment projects
    • Demonstrated commercial acumen, risk management, and contractual expertise (e.g., NEC4)
    • Accountable for delivering revenues from specific clients through repeat business
    • Degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience
