Job Summary

The Associate Finance Business Partner is responsible for managing a pricing contract, including claiming back money from suppliers, and dealing with customers, as well as the overall supervision of the financial results and finding opportunities for the organization using analytical skills


Responsibilities:


  • Support the Amcare Wound Business Units and the wider Home Service Group
  • The management for the Shared Business Services (SBS) framework, including:
  • All aspects of pricing
  • Ensuring the customers are invoiced accurately and timely
  • Calculating and coordinating the claim backs from suppliers
  • Ensuring the collection of cash is completed timely and accurately
  • Managing the relationship with SBS
  • Managing the financial relationship with the customers and the Wound Business Development Managers responsible for those customers
  • Managing the financial relationship with the suppliers
  • Monthly detailed GM review to ensure data is accurately accounted for
  • Support in the preparation of the budget, estimates, and monthly latest views
  • Preparation of detailed sales and GM analysis by SKU brand and product category, and P&L analysis
  • Preparation of financial and commercial analysis for decision making
  • Preparation of monthly variance analysis and commentary
  • Preparation of KPIs for the business
  • Build financial data models to illustrate trends and anticipate future performance
  • Liaise closely and support the Wound Business Unit, the Amcare Controller and the Global Business Services
  • Active role in systems and process improvement
  • Close collaboration with all other business functions
  • Support with the capital requirements
  • Support the organisation's OPEX
  • Support the Sales and Operations team in the production planning process
  • Build a solid understanding of all the finance related systems (e.g. D365, MedTrack UK, CCOMs, SAP and Hyperion)
  • Provide support to the Director of Finance and Business Analytics as required
  • Ad hoc requests as necessary

Language Skills / Education / Experience

  • High standard of oral and written communication, including well developed presentation skills
  • Either ACA/ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in managing complex processes
  • Experience in building processes from scratch
  • Experience of preparing financial analysis for decision making
  • Experience of working in a matrixed organisation
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
