Mechanical Design Engineer The company is a leading manufacturer of heavy machinery products and components based in Omagh, Co. Tyrone.

You will be responsible for designing and refining mechanical components and systems to ensure the efficiency, reliability, and performance of our equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
Use AutoCAD/SolidWorks to create detailed designs of heavy machinery components, assemblies, and systems.

Continuously optimise designs to enhance functionality, efficiency, and manufacturability, while minimising material usage and production costs Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of materials, to support manufacturing processes.

Identify any mechanical issues throughout the design and manufacturing processes, implementing effective solutions to overcome challenges.


Criteria:

Degree / HND in Mechanical Engineering or related subject Significant experience in mechanical design within a heavy engineering environment IT literate Proficient with AutoCAD/SolidWorks or similar CAD package Benefits: Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
