    An opportunity for a Technical Director for EIAs within major infrastructure & renewables has just emerged, working for independent multidisciplinary consultancy operating throughout the UK.

    The role will ideally suit an individual with a track record project managing EIAs for M.I. or Renewables and familiar with projects involving DCO and NSIP processes. You will be joining a successful team of the industries leading professionals within the planning space.

    Preferably based out of London or Manchester, although other locations are available if required.

    The Role:

    • Project managing full cycle of EIAs for M.I and Renewables without supervision.
    • Responsible for the delivery of P&L, budgeting, SHEQ and general activity.
    • Participate in the Monthly Planning Board Meeting ensuring key decisions are taken in the best interests of the Unit, Division and stakeholders of the business.
    • Conduct site inspections and assessments for proposals.
    • Committed to promoting client focussed culture.
    • Working closely with other Directorial staff to manage delivery of projects in a timely fashion.
    • Provide technical leadership in all areas of expertise relating to onshore renewables and M.I

    Qualifications / Requirements:

    • 8 years' experience in Renewable Energy or Major Infrastructure EIA
    • Bachelor's degree (and higher) in relevant discipline; Environmental Science or Planning etc
    • Experience as technical lead on projects requiring DCO completion.
    • Confident in client liaison: fee proposals, networking, business development etc
    • Understand of UK Planning system and its relation to EIA.
    • Professional accreditations are seen as desirable.
