    Job summary

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual, with proven managerial experience, to join the Division of Network Services as the Lead Nurse for ARTU & Major Trauma within the Trauma Directorate. You will be registered practitioner with an active NMC registration who has a drive and passion for quality, safety, service improvement and transformation of services.

    Main duties of the job

    The Lead Nurse for ARTU & Major Trauma will incorporate the dimensions of expert clinical practice, education, leadership, management and research. They will support the Senior Directorate Team in providing expert opinion on the strategic direction for nurses and Allied Health Care Professions caring for patients with Major Trauma.

    The Post holder will, in collaboration with Operational Managers, Matrons, Consultants, and Allied Health Professionals, co-ordinate service developments and implement across the patient pathways to enhance care delivery and minimise delays within the patients care pathway.
