- Completing detailed lists of medications a patient was taking prior to admission and reconciling this with the medications prescribed on the chart.
- Evaluating suitability of patient's own drugs for use whilst in the hospital environment.
- To participate in the discharge planning of patients with ward staff and other healthcare professionals both in secondary and primary care.
- To counsel patients on new or changed medication to help promote compliance.
- Completing audits.
- Supporting governance work for the ITU and surgery care groups.

We are looking for a passionate, caring and self motivated pharmacy technician to join our Surgical & Critical Care Team at William Harvey Hospital, Ashford.
