About the role


We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced project manager to oversee various assignments including specific projects in Genomics and the development of Clinical Research eLearning modules.

The position is based in the Project Management Office (PMO)and is part of the External Affairs Directorate. You will be accountable to the Head of Education Innovation and Head of Safety and Governance.


Working in collaboration with stakeholders you will lead a planned programme of work, to ensure that the views of Members, Fellows and other stakeholders are represented and fed into the development of the educational curriculum.


Responsibilities:

The post holder will be responsible for all aspects of project management, from initiation to project completion.

The post holder will ensure outputs and benefits are established along with detailed project plans, milestones, performance indicators and communicationplans.

The post holder will coordinate regular performance monitoring and reporting to ensure overall project goals are achieved and that good project governance is maintained.


About you


This position is well-suited to a person with drive and ambition to champion the work of the projects and who is able to use their initiative and complete work to deadlines.

Building strong collaborative relationships is also a key part of this role.


Requirements:


  • Prince 2/Agile Project Management qualification (or equivalent course or experience)
  • Working with external stakeholders
  • Experience of working in an educational setting
  • Demonstrable experience and credibility to be able to quickly engage with business users and create a sense of collaboration amongst members of the project
  • Experience of working in change management or change project
