Reed Finance is partnering on a genuinely fantastic Finance Manager opportunity with a
leading global real estate firm based in London.


This
Finance Manager role will be responsible for a portfolio of UK based commercial entities and will be managing a team of 2-3 qualified Accountants.

Day to Day Responsibilities of this Finance Manager:

  • Responsible for leading the financial accounting and reporting for the UK commercial entities.
  • Ensuring timely preparation and review of full set of financial statements, overseeing the audit process and timely submission to relevant bodies.
  • Lead on all technical accounting updates for the UK ensuring IFRS compliance.
  • Handle tax matters (VAT, corporate/income tax returns) including preparation of tax computation and working closely with tax consultant and dealing with tax queries
  • Oversee the transition/onboarding of new assets, acquisitions and structures.
  • Manage internal control and compliance serving as key driver for implementation of group policies, SOPs and systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications for this Finance Manager role:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with at least 3-5 years of post-qualification Accounting /Finance experience.
  • Must have excellent knowledge of local accounting standards and IFRS, hence a high level of technical accounting knowledge.
  • Finance experience in the commercial real estate sector will be required
  • Minimum of 35 years' managerial experience gained in a commercial office environment.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • High level of proficiency in MS Excel and SAP.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both internal and external (oral and written) at all levels.
