A Maintenance Electrician is needed to join a busy maintenance team for a Hartlepool based company

As an Electrical Maintenance Technician your role will be varied but mainly focus on preventative maintenance, installation, and safety checking of electrical control systems and related components across all sites.

You will be responsible for ensuring the plants are maintained to achieve the required plant runtime and that the planned weekly preventative maintenance shift for each site and plant is carried out to specification.

Fault finding, fault diagnosing, testing and repair of electrical equipment, static and mobile plant.
Plan and complete preventative maintenance for each site within agreed timeframes.
Project and Installation work to improve efficiency and safety of all sites.

Comply with H&S procedures by working in a safe and responsible manner at all times, ensuring that the company's policies and procedures are adhered to and the permitting system is consistently implemented.

The successful candidate will be time-served or HNC qualified in Electrical Engineering and be 18th Edition qualified.

You will need to be able to read and understand schematic and wiring diagrams with any high voltage training an advantage.

This is a shift based role (days initially and then 3 -shift system between 6am and 11pm and on call 1 week in 4 with call-outs will be paid at a minimum of 4 hours.

Salary is a Van, for work use only including travel to and from work plus fuel, mobile phone for work use, pension and cash back health plan.
