We are a fast-growing medical devices company that is looking for a sales representative to cover our Southern Territory. The role is field based, with an expectation to commute to different hospitals throughout the region.

    About the Role:

    The primary role of the Neuro Sales Representative is to support the territory sales managers to promote and sell inomed products to key healthcare professionals in neuro, spine and pain fields.

    Responsibilities:

    • Support the Territory sales representatives in key accounts within the designated territory.
    • Develop product expertise to be able to teach end users how to use our devices, including technical specification, application and trouble shooting.
    • Conduct field demonstrations of inomed products to support the sales process.
    • Run product trials for devices within in our neurosurgery and pain portfolio.
    • Develop both new and existing business relationships.
    • Provide customer support post-sales across the territory.
    • Deliver presentations and organise healthcare professional events.
    • Collaborate with the internal management team to refine the company's business plan.
    • Contribute to the development of the regional sales strategy.
    • Gain proficiency in the company's back-office and commercial functions.

    Skills:

    Essential:

    • Strong communication skills – able to communicate effectively with a range of contacts from surgeons to theatre staff, medical engineering or hospital management.
    • Good understanding of the healthcare/medical devices market.
    • Strong organisational and time management skills.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Be coachable – have a desire to learn. This will be both, clinical, technical and business orientated.
    • Highly motivated and personable / likeable.
    • Want to work to provide enhanced clinical healthcare outcomes for patients.
    • Have a hunger and drive for commercial success – target driven and competitive.
    • Pro-active and ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines.
    • Tact, discretion, and respect for confidentiality.
    • Team player – understanding the vision of the company and management and supporting this – in return you will be provided with opportunities for personal and professional growth.

    Desirable:

    • Experience in delivering presentations or coaching / teaching.
    • Relevant neuro rehab, neurosurgery or neuro research experience.
    • Strong commercial acumen.
    • Self-starter / entrepreneurial mindset.
