Castlehill Housing Association is based in Aberdeen and has over 2,000 properties across Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire and Moray. Castlehill provides an enhanced housing management service at 3 of its Sheltered Housing Schemes, based in Moray.

This role will work on an as and when required basis, to cover planned and unplanned staff absence.

Hours are available at the following locations:

Cullen
Tomintoul
Aberlour

In a sheltered housing scheme, tenants are encouraged to retain as much independence as possible and to live a normal life within a framework devised to give security.

Tenants should be part of a happy, caring community where support provided meets the needs of the tenant.

The main purpose of this role is to:

Ensure the safety and security of tenants by conducting well-being checks in line with tenants wishes
Support tenants with tenancy, repairs and other issues by signing posting to the correct internal or external support
Welcome new tenants to the scheme, ensuring support is provided to them in becoming part of the community
Coordinate access and promote the safe use of shared areas, including common rooms and laundry facilities
Conduct safety checks in line with internal procedures to ensure the safety and security of the building
Have experience of working in customer facing role, preferably in the housing or social care sector
Good communication skills
Ability to work independently, without the need for close supervision
Good IT skills, with experience of using Microsoft package
Ability to maintain confidentiality
