    Multi Trades Recruitment is looking for an experienced DOCUMENT CONTROLLER for a well-established company in SHOTTON, DEESIDE.

    This is an exciting opportunity to work on a 4-6 year project at Shotton Paper Mill.

    Work for one of the leading MEP contracting companies, with the capacity to deliver a wide scope of services to a broad range of customers around the world.

    About You:
    • Methodical and diligent in approach to work.
    • Ability to work on own initiative, with an aptitude for solving problems.
    • Proactive and flexible attitude.
    • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
    • Good attendance and timekeeping.
    • Proven experience as a Document Controller in the construction sector.
    • Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Document Control Software).
    • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Experience in M-File Document Management Platform will be preferable.
    • CSCS card required.
    About the Role:
    • Monday-Friday - 45 hours per week (potential for weekend work)
    • Rate: £30,000-£40,000 per annum.
    • Establish and maintain an effective document control system for the project.
    • Prepare and coordinate all kinds of correspondence related to technical documents, drawings, commercial correspondence, and project activities according to document control procedure.
    • Distribute approved documents and drawings to relevant personnel/department.
    • Monitor document versions to ensure the entire team collaborates with the most current and accurate information.
    • Ensure all documents are up-to-date and completed correctly prior to internal or external audits.
    • Protect and store all documents and drawings safely without damage.
    • Produce periodic reports on document status, spotlighting any concerns, delays, or issues.
    • Collaborate with department managers and stakeholders regarding systems process and requirements.
