    Description


    We are now recruiting for a Humber (Beef), to work in our busy Beef Boning Department in Kepak Merthyr Tydfil.

    This is a full time, permanent position working Monday 4.00am to Finish and Tuesday to Friday 6.00am to Finish (with an earlier finish on Fridays) on an hourly rate of £11.92.


    Job Description:
    Moving sides of beef around in chiller, scribing and splitting sides into quarters RE hanging hind quarter and moving them into the main production areas

    Main Responsibilities:


    Scribe and split beef into quarters and rehang hind quarters as directed by their supervisor, to customer specificationBe able to Lift weights and be able to move around the factory floor without assistance for the shift durationBe familiar with the daily production plan and work as part of the team to set up the line, complete checks and ensuring materials are ready to upPerform all prestart, hygiene and safety checks as directedReport all breakages, damages, or defaults of equipment to the Line Supervisor, ensuring all equipment/machinery is only used when it is safe to use.
