The Role
This technically-focussed position supports the processing, analysis and document review management services provided by the eDisclosure team, which is part of Norton Rose Fulbright's Litigation and Disputes Group.
"Processing" in eDisclosure is a servicethat prepares electronic data for analysis, review and production in connection with litigation matters and investigations.
This position offers the opportunity to gain valuable specialist technical skills, through formal training, certification schemes andon-the-job experience. The role reports directly to the Head of eDisclosure for EMEA.Key Responsibilities
- Oversee evidence handling, data processing and production & quality control at each phase of the data management process
- Complete training and gain specialist expertise in some of the most advanced text analytics in the world, using Reveal, Brainspace and Axcelerate, among other tools
- Collaborate with and support project managers with complex technical processing tasks
- Develop the specialist skillset required to competently manage eDisclosure projects on different platforms
- Communicate effectively with fee earners and other team members about complex technical topics
- Work productively and in accordance with established best practice principles
- Build upon existing processes and protocols through a continuous process improvement program
- Gather, analyse and report monthly data processing metrics to inform the team's business strategy
- Maintain uptodate knowledge of common and emerging legal technology relevant to our clients and the eDisclosure industry
- Participate in department administration, leadership initiatives and special projects
- Support internal and external business development initiatives
Skills and Experience Required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Strong grasp and knowledge of legal technology and the EDRM
- Previous experience of delivering eDisclosure / eDiscovery services in a vendor, client or law firm environment, or a degree in a related discipline, is advantageous
- Excellent analytical, problem identification and issue resolution skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven and demonstrable dedication to quality of work and client service
- The ability to work efficiently and effectively under rigorous deadlines in highpressure situations
- Ability to handle multiple, simultaneous projects with consistently highquality results
- Able to demonstrate good judgment in sensitive or stressful situations
