Facilities Engineer

Days Monday to Friday

New role available for a market-leading, Telford based Manufacturer, seeking a facilities engineer to carry out a wide range of building services. Duties to include plumbing, HVAC and electrics within a busy commercial / production environment. Competitive salary, and favourable working hours, as well as excellent employment benefits. Electrical qualification is required as well as previous experience within facilities environment.

Duties

General maintenance across the site to include building fabric, access, lighting, alarms and water supply

Following maintenance schedules and logging work carried out

Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation and procedures

Keeping accurate parts inventory and controlling cost in repairs/facility

Track and store inventory including spare parts

Experience

Latest IEE Wiring (18th edition or equivalent) regulations desirable

Ideally BTEC or NVQ Level 3 Qualified in an engineering discipline

Minimum 2 years facilities / building services experience

Solid background with plumbing, electrical, HVAC

Strong communication and organisational skills required
