    The GTS security team play a critical role in securing our internal business functions and supporting the delivery of external customer commitments in a secure manner.

    This role presents an excellent opportunity to lead the security program and drive the direction of the team whilst owning the responsibility of ensuring we comply with audits, leading our response to incidents and ensuring compliance across the group.

    Whilst balancing security requirements and advice with a business-focused approach, the Security Program Team Leader will help steer the Security Program Team in managing its cyber risks and meeting its business requirements.

    You will be leading a high-performing team who are determined to deliver the best possible cyber and information security service to the company and its customers.

    Collaborating on the development of cyber and information security policies and good practice with responsibility for certain key areas.


    • Delivering initial and continual improvements of a threat and vulnerability management programme across all areas of the business.
    • Arranging regular security assessments and attack surface management along with responsibility for pushing remediation actions within defined SLA's
    • Collaborate with our security operations centre enabling us to respond 24/7 to threats.
    • Managing and guiding the Security Program staff alongside setting the direction for the team and meeting key goals set by the head of security.
    • Working closely with the Security Engineering Team Leader and Head of Security on strategy and health of the team.
    • Sharing professional expertise in the UK and abroad and acting as a key focal point for guidance on the management of cyber and information security risk.
    You must be willing to travel to NCC office locations globally and stay away from home on occasion.

    With a minimum of 5 years' professional experience in the cyber and information security field, you will be familiar with introducing governance regimes and risk management to large, diverse organisations.

    A broad understanding of technology principles and a thorough grasp of methods used to identify and manage cyber and information security risks.

    Candidates should enjoy working across differing specialised areas, but they should also be willing to defend security principles when necessary, sometimes against majority opposition.
