We're currently looking for a placement student in the role of Tax Reporting & Compliance Industrial Placement withing the Global Tax team to join us for career defining work.

    This role sits within the Tax Reporting & Compliance team of Global Tax. The Tax Reporting & Compliance team is responsible for a large range of Tax and Finance projects involving Statutory Accounts Governance, Tax Compliance, Tax Audits and Tax Technology. The role will give the candidate the opportunity to interact with wider Finance teams as well as external consulting providers and auditors.

    What will your individual contribution at Haleon be?

    Core responsibilities will include:

  • Provide support to the Tax function for control documentation and updates
  • Support with day to day Tax compliance queries requiring interaction with external tax and statistics compliance providers, global tax teams and wider Finance
  • Analyzing of ERP system data to ensure correct tax treatment
  • Review and assessment of the transactions within the Haleon ERP system
  • Actively liaise with Tax Service customers on exceptional issues that require significant updates or resolution and ensure that timely updates are provided and the necessary visibility is shared with to all stakeholders
  • Support Tax Service in migration of new activities to the processes and systems
  • Ensure that all issues are responded to within the correct time frame
  • Document the key processes of Tax services
  • Raise Purchase Orders e.g. for tax compliance fees

    Education required: This opportunity is open to all degree disciplines however would naturally suit those intending to pursue a career in Audit and Accountancy.
