    Dewsbury sits in West Yorkshire, within easy reach of the cities of Leeds, Bradford and Wakefield and the towns of Halifax and Huddersfield.

    There are excellent links further afield via the M62/M1 motorways and the rail network with good train services to London, Manchester and Leeds.

    We are looking for a priest who is committed to helping our churches to grow in numbers, in spiritual commitment to God and in service to the local community as we deepen and strengthen the relationships across our team parish of 3 churches.

    Following the retirement of the previous Team Rector following a period of ill health, the parish is seeking new leadership and encouragement from its next Team Rector, and promises commitment, support, openness and willingness to move forward in mission and ministry together.

    Lead the development and strengthening of discipleship among the congregations, inspiring growth in numbers, spiritual depth, and responsiveness to God's call in ministry and mission, nurturing new Christians and the existing congregations into a deeper sense of the presence and purposes of God in their lives;
    offering fresh leadership as the benefice seeks to move forward in serving its community;
    Support the Destination 211 outreach ministry;
    Lead the parish in rebuilding its work with children, young people, their families and carers;
    build relationships with other Ministers, and promote the wellbeing of the community.
