Full-time, Fixed Term 2-year contract

We are looking for an applicant with a relevant degree who is committed to starting a career in teaching. You must be enthusiastic and passionate about your subject as well as working with young people aged

Trainees will be given a fixed term contract over the training period, which is two years, and will divide their time between teaching and learning support duties. Applications from candidates who wish to be a part time trainee teacher (minimum of 4 days, 0.8 FTE) will also be considered.

The PGCE training course fees will be paid by the College. We can offer a welcoming and supportive environment in which to do your teacher training. Our recent Ofsted inspection noted:

The actual salary will depend on the proportion of time allocated to teaching but we envisage that, for a full-time role, it will be £26,403 approx.
