Investment Director opportunity within a successful mid-market Private Equity Investor involving responsibility for leading platform investments and offering future progression to Partner.


THE COMPANY


This established mid market Private Equity Investor is renowned for supporting visionary entrepreneurs and driving significant buy & build growth through to sale / exit.

The team invests typically £20m - £40m including follow-on acquisition funds into ambitiousSMEs operating within a range of exciting sectors, and has built a strong portfolio of high-growth businesses.


THE OPPORTUNITY


Joining the team as an Investment Director you will be responsible for leading platform investments supported by Investment Managers and Associates.

Working closely with the Investment Partners you will grow your portfolio businesses through execution oftargeted buy & build strategies and perform a board advisory role within portfolio businesses, ensuring that agreed growth plans are met.


As Investment Director your responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and evaluating investment opportunities, presenting to Investment Committee
  • Leading platform investments into high priority businesses and overseeing buy & build growth
  • Overseeing M&A transactions, supported by Investment Managers and Associates
  • Decision making at Board level on strategy, acquisitions etc
  • Supporting Partners with overall investment strategy and execution

You will be rewarded with:

THE PERSON
You will be an experienced Investment professional able to demonstrate the following:

  • At least
  • 5 years experience within mid-market Private Equity
  • Experienced in leading and overseeing M&A transactions
  • Excellent client communication and relationship skills, able to influence Board / C-Suite Executives
  • Strong desire to progress to Partner within a leading midmarket PE House focused on highgrowth SME businesses
