iOS Mobile Swift Developer

Location:
REMOTE - 4 times a year meetings in West Midlands


Salary:
£30k - £40k


CX Squared are supporting an EdTech business who are using 2023 to grow with 4 important hires to their product and customer success team.


The business have been going strong for over 20 years now, with a cloud based platform that helps schools communicate with their students, parents and teachers.


Due to the current set up of the development team, there is a need for a iOS developer with native swift experience, who will be the main developer of the iOS app for the platform that will allow schools to add content with their drag and drop feature.


Main responsibilities:

  • Take the current code and modernise that and move it on to Swift.
  • Make improvements and add new features.
  • Add on to that additional functionality that is missing.

Essential Skills:

  • A passion for iOS mobile development
  • Understands Swift and it's principles
  • Experience of developing apps that could be your own or on the App Store.
  • Experience of animations / media videos play back nice to have
  • Experience of building APIs and Rest
  • GIT experience
- .NET Experience - nice to have

  • Worked with CI/CD Toolds nice to have
  • Understanding of UI principles and wireframing / prototyping or a general eye for design would be great


This role will be fully remote with the need for collaboration meetings once every quarter but the team use Slack as their internal messaging system for project communication and support.
