Permanent and Full Time (37 hours per week - you will be on the on-call rota)

Salary:
£28,125 - £29,636 (dependent on skills and experience)

  • A bit about you
  • Working alongside the Senior Maintenance Officer to look after the Facilities of this exciting building which is home to a mix of scientists and professional services staff. You will need confident communication skills as you will be a vital point of contact for contractors and their management whilst on site. Respond to requests via a helpdesk and have a proactive approach to maintenance and repair of a wide range of site plant and equipment including coordinating inspections and servicing.
  • Naturally you will be helpful, proactive and enjoy finding solutions. This would suit someone with good practical multi trade skills who would like variety and to take on responsibility as experience grows.

  • Contractor Management
  • Maintenance and planned preventative maintenance
  • Record keeping and asset management
  • Supporting the Workplace manager
  • Carry out engineering tasks and maintenance requests generated from the Helpdesk

  • Have an understanding and be aware of compliance requirements
  • Awareness of specialist waste disposal, waste electrical and electronic recycling (WEEE) and control of substances hazardous to health (COSHH)
