    Job Description

    A boutique management consultancy assists senior leaders with complex urban regeneration projects and organisational change programmes and are seeking a PMO Analyst to join the transformation-focused side of the business. They are aimed at implementing and managing change & transformation programs to improve the lives of local communities.

    Responsibilities

    • Review requirements, service specifications, business processes and provide advice, guidance and recommendations to programmes and projects.
    • and challenge Project Managers to deliver the process workstreams of their projects within time, cost and scope constraints.
    • project teams to conduct business process mapping in order to map the current and desired processes to support the programme or project.
    • project managers and project teams to identify and to ensure that the needs of stakeholders are understood and effectively managed.
    • existing projects to ensure appropriate best practice and methodologies have been followed to ensure risks from projects are minimised.
    • a range of recognised project management and business analysis tools and approaches to support the PMO in its assurance function.

    Requirements:

    • Experience of business process / customer journey redesign
    • Knowledge of project management and PMO methodologies.
    • Experience of developing business cases and financial models
    • Meaningful experience in process-mapping/re-engineering.
    • Advanced knowledge and experience of MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
    • Knowledge and experience of using MS Visio or similar process mapping tools.
    • Experience working within the public sector required.

    Details:

    • Start date: ASAP
    • Duration: 3 months with potential for extension
    • Day rate: Up to £250/day PAYE, depending on experience.
    • Location: 1-2 days per week in office
