    Business Development Manager- £60,000-£80,000 + Bonus and Car Allowance– Rochdale, OL16/ Hybrid

    The Role

    We are an independent commercial refrigeration and air conditioning company, looking to appoint a knowledgeable and tenacious Business Development Manager to our growing team.

    You will play a crucial role in identifying untapped markets and new opportunities for our company's refrigeration installation and service and maintenance departments. You will be at the forefront of expanding our presence in niche markets by formulating and executing innovative sales strategies that drive results.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Identifying untapped markets and new opportunities for the company's refrigeration installation and, service and maintenance departments
    • Expand the company's presence in niche markets by formulating and executing sales strategies.
    • Generating leads and qualifying prospects, as well as provide internal sales support by responding to inquiries, generating sale quotes, and assisting in pricing negotiations.
    • Develop strong professional relationships with new and existing clients, enhancing the company's market presence.
    • Develop strong professional relationships with new and existing clients, enhancing the companies market presence.
    • Drive business development activities including presentations, visits, demonstrations, cold and warm calling, and leveraging social media.
    • Preparing weekly and monthly sales reports.
    • Attending industry seminars, conferences, and events.
    • Analyse competitive landscapes and provide insights to inform business strategy.

    TJ Refrigeration is an independent and very competitive company formed in 1982. We have grown consistently over the years and have enjoyed over 30 years within the refrigeration industry.

    The company is split into two divisions and specialises in commercial refrigeration and air-conditioning, offering solutions to almost any situation.

    The Person

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
    • 5 + years of experience in business development.
    • Strong understanding of the Refrigeration & Air Conditioning industry
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
    • 5 + years of experience in business development.
    • A proven track record of success in generating new business.
    • A strong strategic and analytical mind.
    • A drive to succeed and achieve results.
