    The objective of the Second Line Risk team is to deliver, coordinate and continuously develop an effective Risk Management Framework that provides the tools to enable FNZ to identify, assess, control and monitor risk and through that framework manage risk within the appetite of the business, our clients, and regulators.

    The role will support Risk Business Partners in the implementation and maintenance of the Risk Management Framework to support FNZ's business plan and the regulatory environment it operates in. This includes provision of oversight of the application of risk management policies and procedures and working with the business to facilitate the understanding and embedding of these within FNZ.

    The duties and responsibilities of this role will include the following:

  • Support the Risk Business Partners on oversight of risk activities across the business including assisting in the Risk and Control Self Assessment process.
  • Undertake regular risk event reporting and analysis, identifying trends and challenging the business where necessary.
  • Provide guidance and support to the business on the Risk Management System which involves assisting with queries and maintenance of user permissions.
  • Monitor risk management processes to ensure they are being followed and identify areas of improvement e.g. Risk Events, Escalated Root Cause Analysis, and Key Risk Metrics.
  • Maintain a risk register and track ongoing changes.
  • Attend First Line Risk governance committees.
  • Ensure timely reporting of Second Line Risk Key Risk Metrics.
  • Supporting Second Line Risk senior management when required.
  • Experience Required:

  • Attention to detail and comfortable reviewing data sets.
  • Ability to take initiative and comfortable working under pressure within strict deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
