We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join our local schools in the London borough of Bexley as a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA).

The HLTA will be responsible for supporting/ covering the planned lessons of the classroom teacherin a variety of tasks and activities, including lesson planning, delivering small group instruction, and providing support to individual students.

Responsibilities:

Assist the classroom teacher in planning and delivering lessons
Lead small group instruction and provide support to individual students as needed
Help to manage the classroom environment and promote positive behaviour
Participate in professional development and training opportunities as needed
Attend meetings and contribute to the planning and evaluation of the school's curriculum

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in education with no QTS or a related field OR teaching experience without the relevant qualification
Experience working in a classroom setting is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well as part of a team
Valid teaching certification is preferred, but not required
