About Us and the Role


This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and professional service contract coordinator seeking a new challenge to join our Property Services team.


As part of a wider team including M&E engineers and building surveyors, the postholder will coordinate and manage our planned preventative maintenance programme through our supply chain, ensuring high standards and conformity to specification throughout.

Working predominately within the county of Warwickshire for a range of customers, the buildings we maintain include office accommodation, education, fire and rescue, libraries, heritage and culture.

The Service Contracts Coordinator post is key to our continued success, and you will understand how your performance can directly contribute to it.

The Role

37 hours per week

£31,364 - £33,945


Generous Annual Leave entitlement - 26 days initially rising to 28 days after 2 years service, 31 days after 4 years service and 32 days after 10 years service, plus bank holidays and an additional Company Day at Christmas.

Within Engineering Maintenance you will be working alongside a professional team of engineers and surveyors responsible for a wide range of revenue and capital projects for clients both within and external to the Council.

This post deals specifically with programming and coordination of planned preventative maintenance of M&E assets within our properties.


Working from a predefined asset register and specification for the tasks to be carried out, the post holder will ensure conformity to our high standards and measurement of KPIs, to ensure Warwickshire County Council is compliant in its duty to provide a safe place of work and to visit for our customers.

The on-site service visits will be carried out by external suppliers through an established contract route. The post-holder will build on existing strong working relationships with all our stakeholders.

You will report to the Team Lead and provide support both within Engineering Maintenance and to other services within Warwickshire County Council.


The role requires an ambitious, organised and motivated applicant who will be provided with all the support needed to deliver a quality service.


The postholder may be required to travel to various properties managed by WCC within Warwickshire County, to review assets or to meet with stakeholders.
