    Caretaker/Bus Driver job summary

    This role will be based on full time, 39 weeks term time plus 4 additional weeks over the school holidays.

    Your duties will include:
    • Responsibility for the opening and closing of schools.
    • Being a keyholder and an out of hours contact.
    • Completing regular maintenance and facilities tasks, including Health and Safety checks in and around school premises.
    • Liaising with maintenance contractors to complete essential work.
    • Replenishing stock supplies around school.
    • Organising and supporting setting up the school halls for lunchtime and delivering lunches to other sites.
    • Undertaking minor repairs and maintenance tasks, including decorating and equipment repairs.
    • Completing all work ensuring it is compliant with health and safety regulations. Training will be provided.
    • Driving the school bus for school trips or transporting pupils (you will need a D1 on your licence)
    • Any other reasonable requests
