    Vivienne Westwood is looking for a HR Officer to join the HR Team in the Battersea Office on a fulltime basis for 12 months.

    As the HR Officer you will be work together with your team and the business towards creating a positive work culture that reflects our values. You will provide prompt and accurate HR support across all HR functions. You will manage employee relation activities ensuring that they meet business needs and comply with employment law legislation.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the dayto-day employee relations including formal processes, management support, employee support and any other employment-related issues.
  • Provide HR advisory service to managers to ensure that the company follows best practice in the management of staff.
  • Provide support with employment law compliance.
  • Provide support in terms of company policies, benefits, and welfare matters.
  • Contribute to wellbeing projects and initiatives, promoting a healthy and supportive workplace.
  • Understand business goals and recommend new approaches, and procedures leading to continual improvements in business objectives and development.
  • Support with payroll activities as required.
  • Support with the employee life cycle (onboarding of new starters, drafting contracts and other HR communication, performance reviews and exit interviews)
  • Support with recruitment and selection activities.
  • Support with the development and implementation of HR policies and processes.
  • Actively promote equality, diversity, and inclusion as part of the culture of the organisation.
  • Support with any adhoc HR project.
  • PROFILE & KEY SKILLS

  • 4+ years of experience in a similar HR role
  • Excellent knowledge of HR principles, employment law, and best practices.
  • Ability to analyse, interpret and explain employment law.
  • Experience of managing employee relations
  • Strong planning and organisation skills
  • Strong communication and mediation skills
  • Payroll experience
  • Highly resilient and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • IT skills and knowledge of HR systems and databases
  • Experience of recruitment and selection preferred.
