We are looking to appoint an exceptional professional who will join a highly successful, enthusiastic and talented team and work with us to inspire our students. The role will involve teaching Art and Design, and Technology at KS3, and would be suitable for an ECT in particular. Art and Design and Technology are popular subjects at KS3 and a popular choice at KS4 and for Art at KS5.

Debden Park High School is a heavily oversubscribed Academy that Ofsted judged to be Outstanding in January 2017. We constantly achieve outstanding outcomes for our students.

We have a creative and energetic Art and Design team who are well resourced and dedicated to developing the full potential of our students; we are looking to build upon this success by integrating our Art team with our Technology Team. The successful candidate will be someone who is visionary, innovative and committed to moving learning forward in an exciting and active way; someone who is prepared to go 'beyond outstanding'.

We are part of a family of schools within the Kemnal Academies Trust. Every week staff take part in 2 hours of Debden Minds which is a bespoke CPD programme focusing primarily on the development of teaching & learning. We provide exceptional career progression for staff, which leads to our Middle and Senior Leadership teams being composed of many teachers who began their career with us. We lead the Essex hub of the TKAT SCITT.
