    Have you got great customer service skills and looking to move into office work? Mears Basingstoke are looking for a number of staff to work in a variety of interesting administration, customer service and problem-solving roles over the next 6 months.

  • Gain valuable experience in the Property sector

    About us:

    Mears provides accommodation to essential British Government workers. We source properties from the private rental market, work with a variety of stakeholders to ensure accommodation meets requirements and we manage all issues, repairs and maintenance throughout the lifetime of an occupant's stay. We're experiencing a really busy period so we're looking for some additional staff to join our existing friendly team. This could lead to permanent work for those interested.

    About the role:

    This role is to support manages and deliver specified functions at various stages of the process. Administrators work across these various stages of occupancy and will be trained to work on any part of the process from beginning to end.

  • Deliver set tasks and actions ensuring deadlines are met
  • Provide administrative support to managers to ensure overall business objectives are met
  • Update and maintain written and IT records to evidence outcomes and current status
  • Deliver quality reporting as requested by manager, evidence risk and appropriate actions to resolve
  • Cross work with other administration roles withing the business as require
  • Ensure full compliance with all Mears Group policies and procedures
  • Role Criteria:

  • Solid database use and skills in Microsoft office packages- Excel, Word, Outlook etc.
  • Great communication skills both externally and within the Team.
  • Customer focused, great problem-solving skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
  • An interest in the property sector and in developing within the role and the Division
