Statera Talent is recruiting a Market Risk Analyst on behalf of a market-leading Buy Side firm based in London.

You will sit on the trading floor and provide market risk insights, working closely with senior management and traders.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed analysis of risk measures, positions, and trading strategies.
• Collaborate with traders to identify and communicate market risks.
• Stay updated on market developments, providing frequent briefings to senior stakeholders.
• Prepare accurate position and risk reports.
• Engage in analysis, valuation, and risk assessment of new markets and products.

Requirements:

• Degree educated in a numerical discipline (STEM).
• Market Risk experience within Asset Management, Commodity Trading or Investment Banking.
• Knowledge of risk metrics such as VaR, stress test, and scenario analysis.
• Clear communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience using SQL advantageous.
