PICTURE FRAMERS (Multiple Positions Available)We are looking to expand our framing team, with multiple positions available. We are a friendly, dedicated and ambitious company, supplying many artists, galleries, publishers and museums with framing solutions.

We produce many different types of frames from conservation standard, bespoke framing, shirt framing, photography framing, contract framing and canvas stretching.

The role is based at our workshop in South Woodham Ferrers, Chelmsford, Essex.


Experience & Skills:

Previous experience as a picture framer (highly desirable).If no previous experience as a framer, then experience as a second-fix carpenter or a bench joiner would be essential.

Good quality work and an eye for fine detail is necessary. Ability to work independently to tight deadlines and across multiple projects simultaneously.


Responsibilities:
Measure, cut, and assemble frames according to customer specifications.
Cutting glass, mount board, foam board, backing boards and other materials.
Select appropriate materials and tools for framing projects.
Mount artwork using various techniques, including float-mounting.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Morso Circular saw-cutting machines Underpinners, various models Point drivers CNC mount cutting machines Job details:Permanent positionSouth Woodham Ferrers, CM3, Essex.8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.£25k to £32k per annum – dependent on experience.

Overtime is available at some times during the year.
Full-time is preferred but part-time would be considered.
