- Degree qualified with experience in Site Management within the Pharmaceutical/chemical manufacturing sector.
- Understanding of Quality management systems for GMP manufacturing.
- Passion for safety and the ability to instill a culture of safety across the site.
- Strong commercial acumen to enhance manufacturing efficiency and explore business opportunities aligned with Croda's Pharma strategy.
- Effective people leadership skills to mentor the Site Leadership Team and promote continuous development at all levels.
- Excellent communication abilities within an international and cross-cultural setting.
- Curiosity and a drive for implementing positive change and fostering continuous improvement.
- Experience in leading diverse teams and promoting an inclusive culture.
- Develop and execute a 3–-year site strategy focusing on Operations, SHEQ, and Organisational Development.
- Coach and motivate the site management team while ensuring effective succession planning.
- Establish good industrial relations and negotiate terms with the workforce.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maximize profitability and set improvement priorities.
- Promote creativity and a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
- Ensure effective communication, training, and consultation with employees.
- Comply with CSR policies and manage external relationships.
- Drive change and influence stakeholders to invest in new products and processes.
- Stay ahead of potential issues by monitoring business trends and proactively addressing challenges.
- Present solutions for anticipated risks and escalate critical issues to the Regional Board and Executive.
