Our client is a market leader within the automotive and high performance engineering space, supplying a number of top flight motorsport teams and vehicle OEMs.

They are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team to provide technicaland commercial project management for the clients contracts from internal handover to final acceptance by the customer.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage the contracts to meet project timescales and improve margins.
  • Manage all aspects of contracts so that they are completed within time, specification and budget.
  • Compile and present reports on the contracts as required.
  • Maintain and assist in the development of project management controls for costs and planning.
  • Support the engineering departments in order to achieve the project's design standards.
  • Provide assistance as required in the process of quoting for new work.
  • Attend meetings which are required to manage the contracts under the control of the Project Manager. Including suppliers, customers & subcontractors.
  • Travel will be required to client and customer sites (mainly United Kingdom).
Experience Requirements

  • HND or Higher in Engineering (preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years' experience within a Project Manager or similar role.
  • IT Literate and able to use MS Office.
Other Requirements

  • Right first time attitude.
  • Logical approach to problem solving.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Wide practical experience within a Project Manager role (Automotive is preferable).
  • Full UK Driving License.
