Description
This London based company strive to create a world class digital hub for their clients. They are currently hiring for a Site Reliability Engineer with good experience maintaining AWS infrastructure. This position is fully remote, but the office is open ifyou would like to go in.


Responsibilities:


  • Maintain and develop the current infrastructure.
  • Monitor thresholds and interfaces, set alerts for servers and infrastructure.
  • Schedule Load Tests before every major release and ensure that all configurations are ready for production.
  • Be on an oncall (PagerDuty) rotation to respond to incidents that could impact the product availability.
  • Help to improve operational processes (such as deployments and upgrades) to make them as easy as possible.
  • Help improve SDLC and operational processes with automation.
  • Provide primary line of operational and engineering support.
  • Optimising system performance by having a clear understanding and forecasting of performance metrics.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience with monitoring systems.
  • Experience with virtualization platforms Nutanix/VMWare, operating systems Windows, Ubuntu, CentOS or other RPM/DEB based Linux distros.
  • Good knowledge in high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) planning and implementation.
  • Built knowledgebase on source control tool (eg. Git, Bitbucket), CI (eg. Jenkins, Bamboo), infrastructure automation, deployment automation & orchestration (eg. Jenkins, Octopus)
  • Experience with cloud platforms ( Azure, Aws, GCP)
  • Previous experience in CI/CD processes.
